It's February and Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Love it or hate it you get bombarded by commercials for jewelry and isles at the grocery store devoted to candy hearts and cards with naked babies with wings on the front.
I don't hate it but Valentine's Day has never been one of my favorite holidays. I think I can speak for all girls when I say I'd much rather get a spontaneous bouquet of flowers on a Tuesday in October than roses on Valentine's Day (hint hint, boys).
It's important to show your love all year round. And not just to your significant other but to your friends and family too. When you're thinking about them and how much you appreciate your friendship and relationship with them, let them know!
I'll be spending this Valentine's Day with my friends. We're planning a fun evening filled with dinner, drinks and maybe even a little roller skating (inspired by Andy, Dwight and Darrel from The Office).
Valentine's Day doesn't have to be couples skate only!
