"Feelin This" Friday

Do you ever find yourself saying, "Oh em gee, I am obsessssssed with that!"? I do. Like every five minutes. Some say I'm fickle and that my "obsessions" are just flavors of the week. Call it what you will; I can't help it if I'm passionate. About everything. So to keep track of all the things I "LOVE LOVE LOVE" I have decided to implement "Feelin This Friday" posts where I will discuss my top five fave things of the week. Or day. Or minute.

1. Ingrid Michaelson: Liz and I went to her concert in Birmingham last week and I have not stopped listening to her since. You're probably thinking, "Sarah, I've never heard of her" (or if you're one of my readers you've asked me "who is he?" ) but YES, yes you have heard of HER. If you have seen the Old Navy commercial you've heard one of her songs, The Way I am. I'm afraid that if you are not a 20-something female that you will not be able to appreciate her music but please feel free to keep an open mind.

2. Lucky Mag Blog: Lot's of good fashion tips and information on trends. My favorite part of the blog is the "Deal of the Day" section. Each day readers are alerted of specials like free shipping or items that Lucky readers can get special discount codes on. I've already been sucked into the Deal of the Day vortex and bought these pretty babies with free shipping!

3. Target's Dollar Spot: They should really call this the "Death Trap" because I cannot walk into Target with out getting at least 3 things from the dollar spot... much less leave the store with out spending less than $50. My favorite time to go to the DS is around the holidays where they have cute, decorative things for only a dollhair. This month's purchase: dishtowels with ghosts and candy corns. So festive. When I lived in Tuscaloosa, my kitchen was always decorated for the season. I have GOT to get my own place if for nothing else but to decorate my kitchen. My dishtowels need a freaking home.

4. Ping: I have recently learned about this new (free for a limited time) application for iPhone users called Ping. It is like BBM for iPhones; basically a free iPhone to iPhone text. I wish I had more friends with iPhones so I could use it more- you people and your Crackberries! While I'm on the subject of iPhone apps, I am loving my "ESPN Score Center" app. It allows me to know kickoff times, rankings and up to the minute scores. I have separate pages for the complete NCAAF, SEC, Top 25 and NFL. On each page you can select your favorite teams to come up at the top to make finding the scores easier.

5. Being the Rachel Zoe of Atlanta: Now that I'm back in with the 'rents I've taken on some new job titles- dishwasher emptier, dog walker, dog washer, chef, and stylist. Every night when my mom comes home she asks me to pick out her outfit for the next day. This is quite a task, you see, because she has some items lingering from the 80's that I remember her wearing when I was still sporting velcro shoes and a bowl haircut (yikes on all accounts). She has some cute things but for the most part, bless her heart, they are just Mom-ish. Today I have her looking very frattastic:
Mama says, "Roll Tide" and "Sarah Elizabeth I am going to kill you for putting my picture on the internet!" But you know what they say, what you don't know can't hurt you.
