Well 2010 has definitely started out with a bang: Kate Gosselin got a makeover, The Bachelor is back and the first sentence I wrote on my blog this year was an alliteration. Wowsers. If this is any indication of how this next year is going to be you better hold on to your hat.
I rang in the new year Miley Cyrus style in Nashville. I love that city. I feel it's only appropriate to ride down the strip while listening to Starship's "We Built This City". I mean, we didn't do that but you totally should. We drank, we danced, we ate Krystals and we didn't have to pay a penny for our bar tab (shout outs to our drunkass cocktail waitress). I can't think of a better way to say goodbye to last year.

I returned home to a snowy Atlanta. It is inappropriately cold here and I can't leave the house with out looking like this. I have never been so ready for spring and warm weather.
Wanna know the best part of 2010 that will last allllll year long? The Alabama Crimson Tide has claimed it's 13th National Championship! In the poetic words of Mark Ingram, "We Back!"

It was a great game but not exactly how I'd wanted it to go down. Colt McCoy suffered a right shoulder injury in their first drive after an interception on 4th and looooong. Freshman backup quarterback Garrett Gilbert immediately shit his pants and went in to complete some crazy passes to Jordan Shipley. I knew as soon as he was confirmed to finish the rest of the game that people would say we only won because Colt was out but luckily Gilbert put up a good fight.
It's only the 9th day of the new year and I'm already struggling to keep my new year's resolutions. One of them is updating my blog more often so high fives to me for at least doing that much. I'm looking forward to sharing this new year with you. Whoever you are. (Probably just Liz -lylas gill!) Wishing you health and happiness in 2010!

um - I'm here too. I read this, and your Jersey Shore post and I just literally sat at my desk at work and laughed silently (so as not to arouse suspicions) until tears were rolling down my face.
PS. when was there krystal?
A little late night angel brought them out of nowhere it seemed. I think I ate 5, pickle and all. Ew!
